Baddesley Clinton & Packwood House
Those who had not visited these 2 National Trust properties before were very impressed with both sites as they contained historic buildings and vast potential for photo opportunities. Many said they would be back when the weather was not so bleak and overcast. Although it did not start raining until after lunch the light was flat at both venues. In addition, because of the previous month's incessant rainfall, the gardens, although manicured beautifully, lacked both depth in colour or visible signs of growth. In fact, the famous yew garden at Packwood House was out of bounds because the ground was too wet.
For those planning a visit please note that the only café/restaurant is at Baddesley Clinton, that is why we met up there. It is a good starting point but it gets very busy as it is a popular location in that vicinity, especially when the weather is good and at weekend.
