2013
Harold Country Park
It was a warm, sunny day and not too windy. It was just right for lazily strolling along the lake's edge; for most, this involved going anticlockwise in the morning, and the other way round after lunch. There was a wood carver's site to take in as well as many visits to the edge of the lake for shots of the swans or setting the camera up on a tripod for landscape photographs.
For once, I did not feel any urgency to hurry anyone and we all turned up on time to eat a pre-ordered lunch together. The food was really, really good and well-appreciated. Tea was taken in the same vein with all being present at the same time.
A most pleasant day.
