Peterborough
After meeting up in the coffee shop, we spent the best part of the morning inside the cathedral and within the immediate environs outside. Two things were in our favour: we could use tripods inside and there were not many other visitors about.
After lunch the group split up. Some went home, others took shots in the market square and a small group wandered off to the river. At this stage of the day the sky was a mixture of deep blue fluffy clouds and some rain-bearing dark clouds which helped to provide a moody background to any landscape shots. So much so that three of us stopped off at Fotheringhay on the way back to get some images of the church there against dramatic skies.
